Best & Worst Nursing Homes in Idaho & Washington

LEWISTON, ID – The Lewis-Clark Valley has two of the worst nursing homes in the State of Idaho according to the Centers For Medicare and Medicaid Services’ five-star rating system. In a study of nearly a hundred facilities, 10 currently have a one-star rating, or “much below average.” In Lewiston, two facilities are ranked #7 and #8. A facility in Grangeville is ranked #4.

Meanwhile, Moscow has the 2nd- & 10th-best nursing homes in Idaho; Lewiston is home of the 6th best nursing home in the state; and Orofino has one ranked #7.

For Washington State, the nearest one-star rated nursing home is in Pullman. There are no nearby facilities which are among the highest ranked in Washington. The number one facility is in Othello.
