Lewis-Clark State forward Maddie Holm has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The Saint Helens, Ore., native helped the Warrior women sweep the final weekend of 2022, including a big win over No. 20 Eastern Oregon. The junior averaged a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds between the two games. In Saturday’s victory over in-state rival College of Idaho, Holm led the contest with 21 points and 14 rebounds. She shot 40 percent from the field, .375 from 3-point range and went 7-for-10 from the free throw line.
This is the second weekly honor for Holm this season and third of her career.
Both Warrior teams hit the road this weekend for Cascade Conference games in Portland against Warner Pacific Friday and Multnomah Saturday. All four games will be broadcast live on 95.5 FM and AM 950 KOZE and streamed free online at koze.com.
