SPOKANE, WA – The National Weather Service says the Inland Northwest will remain in a snowy weather pattern for the next seven to 10 days. The forecast through Wednesday will feature periods of light snow, mainly over north Idaho. Thursday through the weekend will include two or three storm systems capable of light to locally moderate snow.

Periods of light snow during the day Tuesday into Tuesday night will contribute to several inches of snow over the mountainous terrain of the central Idaho Panhandle.

From NWS:

A frontal system will produce widespread light snow Thursday across most of the Inland Northwest. A band of 2 to 4 inch accumulation will be likely across north central and northeast Washington into the Idaho Panhandle Thursday and Thursday night. Bands of light snow will likely linger over the Idaho Panhandle into Friday.
