NWS: Light Snow Overnight Into Monday; More Snow Tuesday & Again Thursday

SPOKANE, WA – The National Weather Service says the Inland Northwest will experience periods of snow this week as temperatures remain at or below average. The Thursday snow event has the potential to produce amounts of four inches or more in northeast/north-central Washington and far north Idaho.

  • This afternoon into Monday morning: 1 to 3 inch snow accumulation in southeast Washington, Spokane/Coeur d’Alene area, and central/southern Idaho Panhandle
  • Tuesday and Tuesday night: 1 to 3 inch snow accumulation (localized 4 inch amounts) Central Idaho Panhandle
  • Thursday and Thursday night: Amounts of 4 inches or more North Central/Northeast Washington and North Idaho

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for much of southeast Washington into the central and southern Idaho Panhandle through late Monday morning.
