A woman was shot and killed Saturday afternoon in Clearwater County.
According to the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office, at about 4:15 p.m. officer along with the Clearwater County Ambulance responded to a report of a shooting in the area of South Dicks Creek and Teakean Butte.
When deputies arrived they found 38-year-old Lanae Tackely deceased from a gunshot wound. Also at the scene was 36-year-old Raoul Brown who was arrested and is currently being charged with Involuntary manslaughter, possession of methamphetamine, and Injuring another by careless handling and discharging of a firearm.
The sheriff’s department says the investigation is ongoing.
