The League of Women Voters of the Lewis Clark Valley and the Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring a forum and a meet and greet with candidates for Idaho 2nd Judicial District as well as state legislative seats for District 6 and 7 tomorrow (Sat), at noon at the Lewiston City Library.
The event is free and open to the public.
The forum will involve the two candidates for Idaho 2nd Judicial District, John Bradbury and Michelle Evans. The two will rotate taking questions from both the league and chamber, as well as the audience. The forum will run for approximately 45 minutes.
The forum also will be shown live on the chamber’s Facebook page and can be viewed at a later time.
Following the Forum, all District 6 and 7 candidates for the legislature have been invited to attend a “Meet and Greet” with the public.
Originally, all District 6 candidates were invited to take part in the Forum as well, but League of Women Voters’ rules require that at least two candidates for each race must agree to participate to be in the Forum. Because of other commitments or last-minute notices, none of three races will have the required two candidates participating so all District 6 candidates have been invited to participate in the Meet and Greet instead. Additionally, all District 7 candidates are running unopposed and also have been invited to participate in the Meet and Greet.
