A 61-year-old man was killed following a single-vehicle accident Saturday evening in Idaho County.
Idaho State Police say the man was traveling along American Bar Road in a 1996 Ford F-150 pickup truck, when he slid off the road while trying to navigate around a previous rock slide. The vehicle rolled about 125 feet down a steep embankment to the riverbank.
The driver, identified by the Idaho County Coroner as Terry Dickey of Fenn, was ejected from the truck and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to ISP, it appeared that Dickey was not wearing a seat belt.
The investigation is ongoing.
