Lewis-Clark State’s Carter Gordon captured the first Cascade Conference Cross Country weekly honors of the year for the Warriors after a strong showing at the North West Clash last week.

Gordon stepped up to lead the 17th ranked LC men at the first race of the 2022 season. The sophomore from Coeur d’Alene finished 13th overall in the field of 71 to help the Warriors to a third-place finish as a team. He was the top non-NCAA Division I finisher behind runners from Gonzaga and Eastern Washington.
It’s the first weekly honor for Gordon in his career.
The Warrior Cross Country teams returns to action on September 16th with a trip to Upland, Indiana, for the Taylor Invitational.
