
Wildland firefighters have begun the mop-up stage of the Tammany Creek Fire just south of Lewiston.
Crews benefited from rain showers yesterday (Mon) and now have the 50-acre blaze 80 percent contained. 30 personnel are working the fire that began around 5 p.m. Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Wagner Road Fire located near the unincorporated town of Ewan, Washington, is now considered 100% contained. The fire was first reported Thursday and burned nearly 7,400 acres of rangeland, stubble and standing wheat.
