Mariners break up perfect game bid, blow out Angels

Ty France delivered a 2-run single in the 6th inning to break up a perfect game and the Seattle Mariners blew past the Los Angeles Angels 8-2 last night in Anaheim.

Adam Frazier had two hits, including a 2-run triple, and Julio Rodriguez recorded 3 hits – one of which was his 19th homer in the win.

Robbie Ray picked up the victory. The lefthander allowed 2 runs on six hits with 10 strikeouts over 6 innings to improve to 9-8 on the year.

The Mariners go for a sweep of the series this (Wed) afternoon at 1:07 p.m. with live coverage in the LC Valley on 93.1 FM and 1350 AM KRLC and in the upper Clearwater Valley on AM 1300 KLER.
