Mariners struggle to hit in loss to Rangers

Corey Seager had 2 doubles and scored twice and Bubba Thompson drove in two runs as the Texas Rangers beat the Seattle Mariners 5-3 yesterday (Sun) in Arlington.

J.P. Crawford had 2 of the Mariner’s 4 hits.

Matt Brash took the loss in the relief for Seattle. The righthander gave up 2 runs in two-thirds of an inning pitched.

Texas won two of the three games in the series.

The Mariners are back in action tonight (Mon) in Anaheim to begin a three-game series with the Angels. First pitch is set for 6:38 with live coverage in the LC Valley on 93.1 FM and 1350 AM KRLC and in the upper Clearwater Valley on AM 1300 KLER.
