Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal collision involving two motorcycles that occurred Friday, July 8th, at around 7:30 PM, on US Highway 95 at Mcintyre Rd, near Sweetwater, south of Lapwai.
A Harley Davidson Motorcycle, driven by an unidentified 71 year-old man was traveling northbound when he rear-ended another motorcyclist that was traveling northbound in front of him. The fellow cyclist was beginning to turn onto Mcintyre Rd when the collision occurred.
The injured cyclist was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
