Idaho four-year higher ed presidents get pay boost

The presidents of all four of Idaho’s four-year high education institutions will see their salaries increase next year following approval by the Idaho State Board of Education.

Lewis-Clark State College President Cynthia Pemberton received a near 15% raise, increasing her annual salary from $240,000 to $275,000 beginning July 1st. Pemberton, who has been president at the college since 2018, got the biggest pay boost.

University of Idaho President Scott Green will receive a 5% pay raise, bumping his annual salary from just under $420,000 to nearly $441,000 for the next academic year.

Boise State University President Marlene Tromp will receive a 3% pay raise, bringing her salary from just over $425,000 to almost $438,000.

And a 5% raise was approved for Idaho State University President Kevin Satterlee, whose annual salary will increase from $400,000 to $420,000.
