Trout homers again as Mariners shutout in series final

Mike Trout homered and drove in two in leading the Los Angeles Angels past the Seattle Mariners 4-0 yesterday (Sun) at T-Mobile Park.

Six Angel pitchers combined on the 2-hit shutout, with the final five hurlers tossing 4 1/3 innings of no-hit relief.

Justin Upton had a double for the Mariners, who dropped three of the four games in the series.

Seattle has today (Mon) off and will travel to Oakland for a three-game series beginning tomorrow (Tue) night.
