Yordan Alvarez homered and drove in two runs and Justin Verlander dominated on the mound as the Houston Astros beat the Seattle Mariners 4-1 last night in Houston.
Verlander picked up his 7th win of the season after allowing a run on 6 hits with 12 strikeouts over 7 innings.
J.P. Crawford and Adam Frazier recorded four of the M’s 6 hits.
