The Lewis-Clark State Baseball team forced game 19 of the 2022 Avista NAIA World Series after it defeated top-seeded Southeastern of Florida 10-9 to start Thursday.

Junior Pu’ukani De Sa provided the heroics in the contest with his second homer and drove in three as LC edged the Fire, only to have the championship game halted in the seventh inning due to weather.
The championship game will resume on Friday at 8:15 a.m. with Southeastern leading 6-5 in the bottom of the seventh. The Fire had the bases loaded and no outs when the game was paused.
