NAIA Opening Round Tourney: Thunderbirds force winner-take-all championship game

A five-run 8th inning was the difference as the University of British Columbia defeated the 5th ranked, and top-seed Lewis-Clark State in the NAIA National Opening Round Baseball Tournament presented by Avista Wednesday night at Harris Field 7-4.

Nathan Shute had four hits and drove in 3 runs and Cameron Sanderson was 2-4 with a two-run double for the Thunderbirds.
