Rodriguez, Mariners hold on for win over Mets

Julio Rodriguez went 4-for-4 at the plate with a homerun and 2 runs-batted-in, and Cal Raleigh hit a two-run homer to lead the Seattle Mariners to an 8-7 win over the Mets yesterday (Sun) in New York.

Robbie Ray picked up the win for Seattle. The lefthander allowed 5 runs on 5 hits with 9 strikeouts over 6 innings to improve to 4-3 on the season.

The Mariners travel to Toronto to open a three-game series with the Blue Jays today (Mon).
