Five injured in rollover accident on Mt. Idaho Grade

Five people were injured in a single-vehicle accident Sunday evening on the Mt. Idaho Grade.

Idaho State Police are investigating the incident that happened around 5:35 p.m.

According to a news release, the driver of a Kia sedan was traveling north bound along Mount Idaho Grade and lost control. The vehicle rolled, coming to rest approximately 25 yards off the roadway.

The driver, a 22 year old female from Grangeville and four minor passengers in the vehicle were all transported to the hospital by ground ambulance.

Authorities say none of the occupants were properly wearing seatbelts and the investigation is ongoing.
