Jeremy Pena and Yordan Alvarez both homered in leading the Astros to a 3-0 shutout win over the Seattle Mariners last night in Houston in the opening game of a three-game divisional series.
Righthander Jake Odorizzi got the win – allowing 4 hits with 3 strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings for the Astros.
Ty France had two hits for the Mariners, who only had 5 total hits in the game.
