The Lewiston Police Department will be out in full force the next two weeks at Lewiston High School due to various complaints in the area about dangerous driving habits by students. Captain Rick Fuentes shed some light on the unsafe driving that was the impetus for this emphasis patrol.
Fuentes says the department coordinated with the district and LHS to set up the patrol, which is focused on lunchtime at the school.
Lewiston Police will have statistics to share near the end of next week.
