The deadline to remove studded snow tires in Washington state is Thursday.
Studded tires are legal in Washington from Nov. 1st to March 31st.
The law applies to all vehicles in Washington state, including visitors. Violation carries a $136 fine.

In Idaho, motorists have until April 30th, while Montana’s studded tire removal deadline is May 31st.
