Idaho gas prices on the rise again

Gasoline prices are on the rise again in Idaho.

According to the American Automobile Association, Idaho’s current average price for regular gasoline is $4.42 per gallon, which is seven cents more than a week ago and 88 cents more than a month ago. Meanwhile, the national average currently sits at $4.25 per gallon, the same as a week ago and 64 cents more than a month ago. After hitting $4.33 on March 11th, the U.S. average has decreased by nearly a dime, but Idaho prices continue to rise.

The Gem State ranks 11th in the country for most expensive fuel and may return to the top ten as early as this week.

Motorists in Boise are paying the highest average price for gas in the state at $4.54 per gallon. Coeur d’Alene has the state’s lowest average price at $4.10, while Lewiston’s average price for a gallon of gas is currently $4.12.
