The Washington State University women’s basketball team has been awarded an at-large berth into the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament for the second year in-a-row and 3rd time in program history.
The Cougars are the #8 seed in the Bridgeport, Connecticut Regional and will face #9 seed Kansas State Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Wazzu men’s basketball team will host Santa Clara in the National Invitational College Basketball Tournament tomorrow (Tue) night.
The #4 seed Cougar men are 19-14 while the Broncos are 21-11. Tip-off from Beasley Coliseum is set for 8 p.m. with coverage on ESPNU.
