LHS falls to Lake City in District Championship game

Nathan Hocking put up a game-high 15 points and three other Timberwolves scored in double figures as top-ranked Lake City beat Lewiston 77-28 in the Idaho District II 5-A Boys Championship game last night (Tue) in Coeur d’Alene.

Drew Hottinger led the Bengals with 7 points.

Lake City improves to 22-1 and advances to next week’s Idaho State 5-A tournament.

Lewiston falls to 17-6 and will take on Coeur d’Alene High on the road Thursday night with the winner advancing to a state tournament play-in game Saturday.

Thursday’s tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. with live coverage on The River 105.1 FM.
