The Lewis-Clark State College Warrior Athletic Association will induct four NAIA All-American athletes as well as four teams when it holds it’s next induction ceremony on April 30th at the Clearwater River Casino & Lodge.

The event was scheduled for the spring of 2021 but was postponed because of COVID-19. Because the Hall of Fame induction happens every two years, LC State officials plan to resume the regular schedule with another induction ceremony in the spring of 2023.

The Hall of Fame was established in 2011 in a joint effort between the LC State athletic department and its booster club, the WAA. Each individual and team inducted has made a major contribution to the tradition of Warrior athletics, to the college, and to the community.

As previously announced a year ago, national champion runners Sam Atkin and Tausha Kuzmic (Patterson) join Kyle Greene, the NAIA baseball Player of the Year in 2008, and two-time NAIA All-American women’s basketball player Amanda Campbell (Curtis) as the four individuals selected to be a part of the sixth class inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Those athletes join the 1991 and 2008 Warrior baseball teams, which both won National titles, along with the 1983 team, which finished second in the Series. The only other program to win a national title in LC State history outside of baseball is the 1998 women’s rodeo team, which rounds out the eight inductees.

This year’s event begins at 4:30 p.m. on April 30th with a no-host social, while the dinner and induction ceremonies will start at 6 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at lcwarriors.com/hof.
