New University of Idaho head football coach Jason Eck announced his initial recruiting class for the team at National Signing Day yesterday.
The Vandal football team landed 21 recruits total, with 15 incoming freshman and six college transfers. One of those freshmen includes Cruz Hepburn, a stand-out on the Lewiston High School team who is joining the Vandals as a linebacker. Hepburn holds the Lewiston High rushing record and rushed for over 1,000 yards three-times. He was also named the 2020 athlete of the year.
The Vandals will use this offseason in the weight room getting stronger and prepping for the spring practice season just a couple of months away. They’ll host their spring game April 30 in Boise, at Eagle High School’s Thunder Stadium. (Vandal Athletics)
