Regional health officials reported 631 combined new coronavirus cases and three COVID-related deaths over the three-day holiday weekend.
In north central Idaho: Nez Perce County reported 142 new infections and one death; Latah County had 104 along with one death; there were 40 new cases in Clearwater County; Idaho County saw its number of new infections climb by 29; and Lewis County reported 11 new coronavirus cases.
In southeastern Washington: Whitman County had the region’s highest number of new infections with 170; and Asotin County reported 135 new cases and one COVID-related death. (Lewiston Tribune)
