LHS boys and girls split road games at Hermiston

James White and Jace McKarcher led the way with 14 points each as the Lewiston High boys basketball team picked up an 89-to-55 win on the road over Hermiston last night. Drew Hottinger added 12 points as the Bengals improved to 9-1 on the year.

Meanwhile, Katy Wessels recorded an impressive double-double with 32 points and 14 rebounds but it wasn’t enough as the LHS girls fell 68-to-65 to Hermiston. Zoie Kessinger added 9 points for the Bengals who fell to 7-6 on the year.

Up next both LHS teams will host Post Falls Friday in Inland Empire League games in Lewiston. Tip-off times are set for 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. with live coverage on The River 105.1 FM and streaming free online at bengalsports.com.
