Callie Stevens put up a career-high 23 points and Maddie Holm notched her 8thh double-double of the year with 14 points and a career-high 17 rebounds as the Lewis-Clark State women’s basketball team beat Warner Pacific 82-to-71 last night at the P1FCU Activity Center. The Warriors improve to 12-and-1 overall and 6-and-1 in Cascade Conference play.
Meanwhile, despite missing four key players, the LC men had one of their best defensive showings of the season in a 74-56 win over the Knights. Colton Spencer led a balanced offensive attack for LC with a career-best 14 points and point guard Silas Bennion was one assist and three points short of a triple-double as the Warriors improved to 12-and-2 overall and 6-and-1 in league.
Both LC teams hit the road this weekend for a pair of games at Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls Friday and Southern Oregon in Ashland Saturday.
