As part of their annual Fill the Bus Food Drive, the Lewiston School District is now collecting non-perishable items to distribute to Community Action Food Bank and Salvation Army Food Bank in Lewiston. This year’s Food Drive will run from Monday, November 29 to Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
All seven Lewiston School District elementary schools, both middle schools, and Tammany High School will be collecting items during this period.
This event provides a great opportunity for students throughout the schools to learn about and participate in service-learning and giving back to the community.
