Idaho Governor Brad Little has appointed Moscow attorney Mark Monson to serve as a district court judge in the 2nd Judicial District.

Monson is a partner at Mosman & Monson in Moscow where he’s spent the last 20 years practicing law. Monson is a member of the Idaho Professional Conduct Board and has served on that board since 2010. He graduated from Arizona State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. In 1997, he moved to Moscow to attend law school and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Idaho in 2000.
Monson will replace retiring Judge Jeff Brudie starting Jan. 1st, and will serve out the remainder of his term.
