The Idaho Department of Fish and Game says salvage logging operations will begin this month on the Craig Mountain Wildlife Management Area.
The goal is to salvage as much timber as possible following fires that burned large acres of timberland on Craig Mountain.
Operations will continue into the winter and spring as weather permits. Logging crews will be working behind gates during operations.
