Bengals to play in three-team Kansas Tie-Breaker tonight

The Lewiston High School football team will compete for the Inland Empire League title in a three-team Kansas Tie-Breaker at Moscow High School tonight (Mon).

The Bengals, along with Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls tied for first place in the league with identical 2 – and – 1 records.

The tie-breaker will determine the leagues top 3. Each team will get the football on the 10 yard line and has four tries to score. Like college football’s overtime rules, the scenario repeats until someone prevails.

The double-elimination tie-breaker begins at 6pm with pre-game coverage of all match-ups beginning at 5:45 on The River 105.1 FM and streaming free online at bengalsports.com.
