Both Lewis-Clark State basketball teams have been picked to finish third in the Cascade Conference preseason coaches poll.
The Warrior men, who are coming off a national championship game appearance a season ago, received 125 points and four first-place votes. Oregon Tech is the men’s favorite, followed by the College of Idaho.
The LC women received 114 points and one first-place vote. Bushnell was tabbed as the conference favorite, while Eastern Oregon was picked second.
The Warrior men open the regular season next Wednesday and Thursday when they host Yellowstone Christian. The LC women open their season November 2nd at home with Whitman.
