An off-duty Nez Perce County Sheriff’s deputy was able to help the lone resident of a Lewiston Orchards house fire to safety yesterday (Tue).
The deputy was driving by the home when he noticed the fire.
The Lewiston Fire Department along with the Clearwater Paper Fire Department responded to the structure fire at 1440 Burrell Ave.
No injuries were reported and two dogs were removed from the yard by Lewiston Police Department officers.
Damage to the home was estimated at $100,000. (Lewiston Fire Department)
