Recreational fires in Asotin County are once again ok after county commissioners lifted an emergency burn ban put in place earlier this year due to extremely hot and dry conditions.
The move means recreational and agricultural burning can resume in unincorporated portions of the county. However, controlled open burning of yard debris in unincorporated areas of the county doesn’t begin until October 15th. (Asotin County Commission)
