Regional health officials reported a combined 189 new coronavirus cases between Saturday and Monday along with 10 COVID-related deaths.
In north central Idaho: Nez Perce County had the region’s highest number of new infections over the three-day period with 57 along with 2 deaths; Latah County reported 45 cases; Clearwater County had 10 new infections and 2 deaths; Idaho County added 7 and one COVID-related death; and Lewis County reported 2 new virus cases.
In southeastern Washington: Whitman County had 35 new coronavirus cases and 2 deaths; and Asotin and Garfield counties had a combined 33 new infections over the three-day period, with 3 deaths reported in Asotin County. (Lewiston Tribune)
