Regional health officials reported a combined 138 new coronavirus cases and two deaths Wednesday.
In north central Idaho: Nez Perce County had the region’s highest number of new infections with 58 along with both deaths; Latah County saw it’s number of cases climb by 23; Idaho County added 12 new virus infections; and Clearwater and Lewis counties both reported 7 new COVID cases on Wednesday.
In southeastern Washington: Whitman County added 13 new infections; and Asotin and Garfield counties combined for 18 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday. (Public Health – Idaho North Central District, Whitman County Public Health)
