The Idaho Department of Labor is hosting a hiring event in Orofino on Wednesday, Sept. 15th for State Hospital North. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Idaho Labor office, located at 416 Johnson Ave.
The facility is expanding staff and has created new positions in a variety of occupations, including medical, financial, food service, clerical and maintenance. Job titles include maintenance craftsman senior, office services supervisor 2, health information specialist and dietary aide senior.
Non-medical, non-licensed positions offer wages ranging from more than $11 per hour up to $23 per hour.
As a division of Idaho Health & Welfare, State Hospital North offers medical, dental and vision insurance; vacation and sick leave; 11 paid holidays per year; and retirement benefits through the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho.
Lobby computers will be available and staff will be on hand to help with the online job application process.
