Regional health officials reported a combined 127 new coronavirus cases and five deaths Tuesday.
In southeastern Washington: Whitman County had the highest number of new infections with 28; Asotin County reported 20 new cases and 2 confirmed deaths; and Garfield County added 9 new virus infections Tuesday.
In north central Idaho: Nez Perce County reported 20 new cases and one virus-related death; Latah County saw its numbers climb by 18 with one death; Clearwater County’s infection numbers increased by 16, along with one death; Idaho County added 9; and Lewis County reported 7 new coronavirus cases Tuesday.
