Washington indoor mask mandate resumes Monday

Washington Governor Jay Inslee’s indoor mask mandate is back in place.

The indoor mask mandate, which took effect today (Mon) until further notice, applies to both those vaccinated and unvaccinated.

Exemptions to the mask requirement are limited to office spaces not easily accessible to the public and small, private indoor gatherings where everyone is vaccinated. Those working alone indoors with no public face-to-face interaction are also exempt.

Facial coverings are recommended, but not required outdoors.

The Governor re-instituted the indoor mask mandate as the number of coronavirus infections continues to rise sharply in the Evergreen State.
