Crews have successfully contained the 11,205 acre Bedrock Fire that destroyed three homes and 12 outbuildings near Lenore in Nez Perce County.
Officials say the fire is not out, and crews will continue to patrol the fire and conduct mop-up operations as the fire creeps and consumes unburned material inside the containment lines.
All roads that had been previously closed have been re-opened in the fire area that stretches from Lenore to the Cavendish area.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. (Idaho Department of Lands)
