Pullman requiring masks in city buildings as COVID cases continue to rise

The city of Pullman has decided to mandate masks at it’s indoor municipal buildings as the number of coronavirus cases continue to rise.

The move takes effect immediately and applies to all employees and visitors, regardless of vaccination status.

Regionally, there were a combined 108 new COVID-19 infections and 2 deaths reported.

In the north central Idaho area: Latah County reported the highest number of new infections with 29 along with 2 deaths; Nez Perce County had 17 new cases; Idaho County added 11; and Clearwater and Lewis counties each reported 5 new virus infections Tuesday.

In southeastern Washington: Whitman County saw its number of infections climb by 24; Asotin County added 12; and Garfield County reported 5 new coronavirus infections Tuesday.  (Lewiston Tribune)
