Health officials in the north central Idaho and southeastern Washington region continue to see a rise in the number of new coronavirus infections with 174 combined cases and three deaths reported over a three-day period between Saturday and Monday.
In the north central Idaho area: Nez Perce County reported 59 new infections and two COVID-related deaths; Latah County saw its number of cases rise by 34; Idaho and Clearwater counties each added 15; and Lewis County reported 7 new virus cases.
In southeastern Washington: Asotin County saw it’s number of infections climb by 32; Whitman County added 8 new cases and one death; and Garfield County reported 4 new COVID-19 cases over the three day period. (Lewiston Tribune)
