The recent surge in the number of coronavirus cases continues as regional health officials reported a combined 70 new virus infections Thursday.
Nez Perce County once again had the most cases with 25, and has now seen 165 new infections over the last two weeks. Clearwater County added 6; Idaho County had 4 new cases; and Latah and Lewis counties each reported one new COVID-19 case Thursday.
In southeastern Washington: Whitman County saw its numbers climb by 22, and Asotin County reported 11 new virus infections.
There were no additional hospitalizations or virus-related deaths reported in the region Thursday. (Lewiston Tribune)
