Yakima County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Swan has been appointed to preside over the trail of former Asotin County Superior Court Judge Scott Gallina.
The 57-year-old Gallina is accused of sexual misconduct in the workplace, including a second-degree rape charge and indecent liberties with sexual motivation, which are both Class A felonies, and four counts of third-degree assault.
Swan is the fifth judge to be appointed to the case.
The trial, which has been delayed several times over the last two years, was set to begin next week in Asotin County but will now be rescheduled for a later date. (Lewiston Tribune)
