Rodeo association helps with livestock housing amidst wildfire evacuations

With evacuations of various levels in place due to the Asotin Complex Fire, a local rodeo association is helping residents house their livestock. Tevis Lee, treasurer for Lewiston Roundup, says there’s plenty of space available for horses.

Residents who take advantage of the service should take a picture of their animal for ID purposes, and also provide their name and contact info. People can do that by messaging the Lewiston Roundup Facebook page.

To find out more, you can call their full-time on-site groundskeeper Kelly Ripple at 208-746-6324. Lewiston Roundup is located at 2100 Tammany Creek Road. Click here to go to their Facebook page.
