Mask mandate lifted in McCall

The central Idaho resort town of McCall has lifted its facial mask mandate which had been in place since July to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

The 4-1 vote by the city council came despite a warning by St. Luke’s McCall officials that lifting the order could be premature with the summer tourism season nearing.

Wearing face masks in indoor public spaces is now “recommended” but not required in McCall under a public health advisory issued by Central District Health, which has jurisdiction over Valley County. (Star News – McCall)
