
Regional health officials continue to see an uptick in the number of coronavirus infections in Whitman County, while two more COVID-related deaths have been reported in north central Idaho.
In southeastern Washington, Whitman County reported 45 new cases since Friday – by far the most cases in the region. Asotin County added just one new infection, and Garfield County had none.
In north central Idaho: Latah County reported 13 new infections; Nez Perce County added 5; and there were two new cases in Idaho County along with one death. Clearwater and Lewis counties had no new coronavirus cases, though Clearwater County did report one COVID-related death on Monday. (Lewiston Tribune)
